Would any of you know how to delete (User preset) Plug-ins within Pro Tools?
Thanks a bunch in advance.

Mike,

Depending on whether you're using a Windows or Mac OS computer, there should be a plug-ins folder nested under the folder when your Pro Tools executables are installed. Rather than delete, I'd recommend just moving things out of that folder to a different folder, at least at first, in case you accidentally delete something you end up wishing you hadn't.

Hello Mike,

On a Mac, look for the map:

[APPLICATIONS]-[DIGIDESIGN]-[PRO TOOLS]-[PLUG-INS ALIAS] , and there you'll find all your plug-ins. If you were asking -for I got confused here- how to remove user presets of existing plug-ins, it's very simple:

Open up a plug-in, select the user setting and click on the dropdown menu with the small arrows to your left of the settings, and select Delete Current Settings File.

Good luck!

EDIT: A friend of mine wrote a nice piece of software that might come in handy if on a Mac... find his baby on the link underneath here.
