Ron,
Can you tell us a bit more about the use you have in mind for the mixer? Are you interested in the mic pre's or the FX ability? For $50 more dollars you can get the Mackie 1202-VLZ3 with (reportedly) better "pre's" but no FX.
I see on your web site you use a Symetrix 523E. Is it just a compressor? |

Hi Bill,
I sometimes have a noise issue with the current board. I will be getting a Mackey, just looking at all the ones out there _________________ "When I was your age, we had to dial to get online"

there was a 1202VLZ for sale right here on this board last week ... it's a great board - with super-quiet pres ... i'd look HERE.
ALSO --- imho, the older mackies are far superior in construction to the new ones ... someone correct me if i'm wrong. i just like the way the older boards "feel" better. _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis
