				|
 |
				| Has anyone begun to notice the occurrence or increase in volume of spam since the VO-BB was hacked? It's one of about three places on the web where my email address exists and this morning I was greeted with amazing offers of increased size and endurance (first spam I've seen since I created this account about 6 months ago.)
 Just wondering..

Glad to see us back up and going.

Thank you and great job to all involved!

				| Yeah, Bailey says his spam receipts are through the roof.
I haven't noticed it, myself, but so what.
I'm dreadfully sorry that our security was breached.

 working on security updates tonight.

				| Noticed quite an increase in spam, myself. It's slacking off. But I gotta say I'm diggin' the extra endurance and increased size. Got 'em lining up from four neighborhoods over. _________________

Although I have a full head of hair, I'm quite ribald.

Me too. I just thought it was from someone who had been talking to my wife.

				| Hi Deidre,
I was bummed to hear the board had been hacked but glad to see you've got it fixed now.

What a frustrating world this www can be at time (albiet wonderful as well).

Re the post about the increased spam - I haven't noticed it but I use a spam filtering company which I have used for a few years now and absolutely LOVE it. What amazes me is the emails I get from 'people' who actually send me an email from myself! I don't think I'll ever understand how they do all this stuff (and I don't even plan on trying to - too much information
  )
Anyway - have fun and good to see all is well again.
 Cheers,
 Deb

				| Nope me either. I'm a vegetarian as well (well OK - I do eat fish  ) so maybe there is a meat-spam connection here somewhere.
We may look unwell and do strange things with kidney beans and lentils, but our Inboxes have a healthy glow that carnivores can only dream of having.

				| No mystery meat here either...I'm using my hotmail addy, and granted they have a spam filter, but the junk box isn't swelling, so I guess I was spared.
 I prefer Treet anyway.
