Producers, directors and techies are always full of gratitude. A package arrived this morning from a TV commercial production company. Inside was a letter and a Christmas stocking full of good things to eat and a bag of bite sized sausages.

To Jazz from James. Andrew, Paul and Les ............ Well at least I know where I stand.

The way to a man's heart is through his dog! That's true in this house too.

Philip,

Evidently (based on your current avatar) right next to Jazz. Smile

My husband visits schools in the area to talk weather every week. At almost every visit, he is given a basket full of goodies which (by my request) he takes back to work to share. One day he came home with a HUGE basket and a giant grin...it was full of cat and dog toys! We loved it, and so did the 'kids'!

Funny how we can sometimes treat our pets better than our humans!

Are these the guys for whom you did the electric toothbrush in the voice booth? If so, I'd say it was rightly deserved!

Not the toothbrush, he was in LA. Tomorrow the named "gift givers" will be arriving in Portgordon at around 12, checking into The Old Coach House Hotel in Buckie shortly thereafter and then we're off to the football. Buckie Thistle v Keith (local derby). Following the local match we'll watch the international match between Scotland and Italy on the big screen TV in the supporters lounge. The evening will end with a light supper and a small glass of sweet sherry or two.

At the moment my sweetie doggie is eating a dried pig's ear ..............It's a Collie thing!

Viva L'Italia!

There, it's more like chicken feet - for people - than pigs' ears for dogaloos.
