My station - KLAS-TV - is covering the implosion of the Frontier Hotel/Casino live streaming on the internet early Tuesday morning around the time of 2:30am PST. It's practically right across the street from the station...so the shots should be good.
The same people who own the PLAZA in NYC are building a replica in place of the Frontier. Anything would be better. The Frontier is still the home of America's longest-running labor strike.

Is the Riviera next?
There was a show on cable a few years back about LV implosions. At one, the crew set up cameras up INSIDE the hotel so they could film what it looked like as the place was coming down. That was pretty interesting. _________________ Greg Littlefield

The Riv?....yeah, I wouldn't doubt it. It's in that red-hot North Strip growth area, and the place is ... well.... old. It wouldn't surprise me.

Neat stuff for sure!!

You can't teach an old Hotel new tricks, but you sure can implode them!!

Somewhere I've still got video of the Kingdome implosion in Seattle. They started with a camera inside and then switched to an outside view. Fascinating stuff, though it was a bit depressing. I saw my first major-league baseball game there with my dad and two brothers many a year ago. _________________ Justin S. Barrett
