VO-BB - 19 YEARS OLD!

This is probably aimed at those New York area full-time or represented v-o's on this board (but if anyone else wants to jump in and has had experience in the NY market, then feel free):

I'm in the middle of a major marketing campaign. Although I'm always networking, making calls, and staying in touch with other v-o friends, production companies, and previous clients, I have stepped up my marketing campaign like never before - started on July 7th and will run heavily until Dec 15th. Then starting again in the New Year. (and yeah, it's costing a fortune - ok well a couple thousand dollars, but that's a fortune sometimes)

Anyway, here's the thing: I've gotten some call backs (and it's only been a month) with interest and some telling me to follow up in a couple months (for various reasons). Since I've spoken to a few agents, and will undoubtedly be interviewing others, I needed some references from people that are represented (freelance or signed) by NYC agents. Also, can you recommend one or two boutique agents as well that you have booked from.

Just to be clear - all I'm looking for is positive or negative experiences with specific NYC agencies, whether and why you moved from one to another, etc. I'm not looking to be referred to your agent.
