				| Any of you ever get outside and record your own sound effects? YES! Quite often in fact, I use them for effects in documentries, and a lot of video projects.
Any suggestions about good parabolic microphones? No, do not use them, find a good "shotgun microphone - around $200.00 such as an AZDEN or similar. You will have beter quality, more directional and less transient noise from the background of the sound you are trying to capture.
