Any condensor microphone recommendations better suited towards VO work for a thinner male voice in the tenor range? |

In my opinion and from past experience... the Rode NTK could do a nice job for you. It tends to warm the voice up a bit and is an all around good mic.

Depends on your budget. Studio Projects B1 for $80 is fine. |

Thanks Brian and Philip for your comments.
I forgot to mention that my budget is around $600 USD. |

My fave all-purpose mic is the Electrovoice RE20.
It was built to be a bass drum mic, so it has a lot of "bottom". It's the one that radio DJs use and I love mine.
It's not as full-bodied as a tube mic, but it's a real super dynamic mic.
Can take a lot of abuse, too. _________________ DBCooperVO.com |

I use both the RE20 and the Studio Projects B1. Love 'em both.
I'd love to comment more but I'm planning my office Christmas Party. I remember last year I took everyone out to Applebees for dinner. Wait...I work alone at home. |

So, how's the RE 20 handling that comment? Did it roll right off its back? Still the happy-go-lucky mic it's always been? |

The RE20 has a real good roll-off. _________________ DBCooperVO.com |

L'Oreal do a good roll on or so I'm told. |
