Hey Gang,
Not really for serious review, more like "free entertainment" but please chime in as you wish with pointers and any thoughts (good, bad or ugly) you may have.... I joined in Jan 2007 and this is my first shot at actually showing someone my first stuff.
I have learned so much from all of you and have had a blast so far!
Thank You DB ! and all of you on the VO-BB!

Way to get into the pool, Heavy D. Congrats.
The spot sort of evoked a 60's feeling in me; made me think of words like groovy, right on, and Strawberry Alarm Clock. Also, it gave me the munchies.
Way to go. |

You've got atleast a 5 second lead on your file. I kept waiting for the file to play. You need to keep your "dead air" down to a minimum... about 1 second.
The music mix sounded fine, but the vocals... to me... were quite slow... almost hypnotic. You may try a more natural read.
You also may want to put together a commercial read, They have a way of allowing you to present your vocal features better. Don't worry about mixing at this time. _________________ "Bailey"

Congrats Heavy D. Many more to come.
I enjoyed your album "Blue Funk" back in the 90's...... _________________ Ben
