Well hello, I am going to be tearing up roots and settling back to where I was born and Raised.. San Diego.
I was wondering if anyone had anything to say about agents in San Diego, a good one I might speak with, or bad ones to avoid.

I'd be curious to know this as well since I'm here in S.D. I am just going to make some minor adjustments to my demo and then start shopping it around and would love to have a list of agencies to approach if someone has already done the groundwork.  |

Call AFTRA and get the complete list of the franchised agents - they rep union and non-union talent.
Artist Management and Shamon Freitas are the two biggest and they are the ones who get the calls for VO talent. There may be one other, but these two are the primaries.
The market is too small for any agents to just handle VO, so they do everything.

I'll have to call AFTRA for that list. I've previously contact both A.M. and S.F.... if no reply is the same as a "thanks, but not at this time"... then I need to see a few more names on that list.

Pfft... I was in SD not two weeks ago and nobody wanted to get together.

I'd better write that date... April 30th... on my calendar, before I forget where San Diego City College is. Maybe that would be a good time to have a VO-BB SD get together?
