I want to send a little postcard out to say "Hey, look at me!" Is this ok?

Is this the real size?

The type is about as small as I can read, and it looks like a Sumo Card.

Nope-- not a sumo, but I do love those. The postcard is 5.5" wide x 4" tall. I can't for the life of me figure out what went wrong when I saved that JPG out at 72 ppi! The smallest test on it is 10 pt. Probably should pump it up to 12.

I'll go fix it.

Does it draw enough attention to me, Me, ME? Or does it seem like it's mostly about a swan?

Swan. It's what I would expect the producers of Rupert to send out, not necessarily the talent.

That's what I see anyway. Smile

Ok. I'll make some adjustments. Any suggestions? I was thinking about having something about me at the top, but I don't know how to word it...

Umm. How about "Hire me I'm awesome when I'm not wearing this pink bunny suit."

And the swan? Let's serve it up for dinner.

Actually, Brian, as those of us who met Amy in person last week can testify, Amy is awesome even when she IS wearing the pink bunny suit.

The image was about 11 by 8.5 at 72dpi.

Here's the size—5 by 3 and 7/8.

Well I think your avatar on vo-bb is funny so why not put your face on the swan's head?

Well, I decided against my head on the swan.

How about this?

I think the success of this depends on who you are sending it to. Clients? Agents? Is this local or nationwide mailing?

What I don't get, is how does this sell you without the person having to see the show? Or is your main goal of this to get people to see the show?

I think my main point is to say "Hey. I'm really working over here, earning real money and doing VO full time, and I don't have an agent. You could be the lucky one who gets to represent me in your market!"

I'm hoping someone will say "Check her out. She'll obviously be an asset to our agency if she's working this much without any representation. Let's listen to her demos and see if she'll fit in with our roster."

Maybe I'm on crack. But I thought I'd give it a whirl. Geek

I like the postcard idea for this project.

The "Narrated by..." will look better where you had it before. The increased point size of the "Narrated By" and About Amy stuff is excellent but make sure it isn't bigger than the name of the filmmaker.

My mom made me do that because she thought it was not clear that the postcard was intended to promote me... I thought she was wrong.
