Just found part of a recent NPR podcast ("The Business" from KCRW) that "gives voiceover the once-over." Listen on the KCRW site or check it out on iTunes (3/26 show)

The VO segment starts at 8:58, runs about 20 minutes, and features an interview with Jerry Ryba, voiceover agent at CESD. After the show closer is a short outtake snippet from Orson Welles, although most here have probably heard it before.
