I didn't go to VOICE this year, but you can bet I'll be there with bunny slippers on next year!  Hope to meet you in person then!

Hello! Yet another refugee to the board from VOICE 2007! Do you have dozens yet? I bet you do. I haven't had much chance to read over many of the posts yet, but I expect I'll find many new and recently-made friends here. Man. Just a week ago I was in Vegas. *sigh* That was a phenomonal experience, wasn't it? I'm already trying to budget for next year. (Any word yet on the location??)
To me!  I'm a newbie VO in Nashville. I currently have a couple of part-time jobs which manage to leave me enough time for auditions, but I gotta be honest--I'm livin' for the day I can drop the Dreaded Day Jobs. Next step for me was going to be demo, but I don't think I'm ready. (Dang. That's hard to admit.  ) So I'm getting a mike and good soundcard for my 'puter and going to work on improving my technique.
Plus I'm reading/listening to everything I brought home. (Btw, I highly recommend Bettye's CD CommercialSpeak and Penny's Demo & Marketing Magic for those who are interested. Next is 56 Slick Tricks!)

There are so many more great things to come as we plan for VOICE 2008.
Oh, Marcy (The great photog at VOICE 2007) has hundreds of great pics of the experience in Las Vegas, she will be putting together a Photo CD and it will be available for a nominal fee on her website.

What a great experience to be at Vocie 2007 as a NEWBIE...I can tell you that you CAN quit the dreaded day job and do voice work full time....I won't tell you how long it took me to get to that level (my husband says it took 20 years for me to become an overnight success) oh,lookie there I told you.
Pam, I've got a big family party coming up...are you available to take the pictures? My FAVORITE pic of the whole event was DLF's crotch!!!
With Tammy's luck, she probably won millions in the casino and is now resting comfortably on a beach in Maui somewhere!!
