Got work from Fred and Fletch that they're looking forward to separating me from my money, err... seeing me. So I guess I'll be seeing them while in town for Anime Boston.

This ought to be amusing. Anyway if anyone's interested in tagging along (I have no idea what they've got in store for me), bring a credit card and let me know Smile

on the side, if anyone can get 4 tickets to the Yankees/Sox game, I'd be more than appreciative (and yes, obviously I'd be paying for the tix)

I love this from the Anime Boston website:

Quote:
Win a Voice Acting Gig in NYC!

Our new Voice Acting Contest will be one of our biggest events this year. You can win a trip to New York to be an actual voice actor for a day! Anime Boston will fly one winner out to New York to work on an episode of one of Mike Sinterniklaas or Tom Wayland's projects. If you can survive three rounds of voice acting insanity, this could be you! Contestants will be randomly selected to compete in the first of three rounds so pick up your form early at the Info Desk and bring it to the contest!

Wanna go juice the contest?

I've already warned Mike and Tom about you... lol

Actually, I think they're going to make the distinction that professional VAs need not apply, because some morons in CA did the same thing and ruined it for everyone.

Sadly, since I'm there with Funimation, I don't think I can do it, even though I've never done an anime before.

Hey, Tom's my director on the Turkish ADR stuff I've been doing for over a year now. Cool!

LOL, sweet! I've already passed him an invite to join for the Mercenary trip (Mike Sinterniklaas said he wanted in a while back, so I figured it was only appropriate).

Damn, it always amazes me what a small world it is.
