|

A recent discussion of the worthiness of phone numbers in radio ads reminded me of a spot I wrote and produced a few years ago. Their number was easy to remember, and we wanted to drive it home:
1-800-FURNACE
You don't get numbers much easier than that to write into an ad. The female talent, by the way, is my lovely wife whomst you'll meet in Vegas.

Knowing ever-so-slightly you and your lovely spouse, Bruce, I can just imagine that conversation for real! Nice work! And nice jingle, too. Yo. _________________ sitting at #8, though not as present as I'd like to be. Hello!

See? Now that works!
(there are always exceptions to any rule...(just ask the French!)
...although - in my twisted brain - I remember the name of the company as 1-800-Furnace ....as opposed to ....what was their name agaian?
Nice spot!
