I got to see this G3 config a few years ago:

Joe Satriani, John Petrucci and Steve Vai.

Holy freakin' cow— I love those guys!
The extra surprise treats were Michael Portnoy on drums for John, and Mike Keneally on everything for Steve.

Steve Vai did all the wild "air" guitar stuff for the Bill and Ted movies, right?
Anyone ever play You Don't Know Jack: The Ride?
The guitar stuff in that was Todd Rundgren.

I'd love to see those guys if they ever came around my area!

Steve Vai was also in the movie Crossroads and did the "head-cuttin" duel with Ralph Macchio. Ry Cooder played for the karate kid Smile Awesome stuff!
