This morning I received an email that began
Quote: | Dear imdb.com user,
I am impressed with your filmography on imdb.com |
My "filmography" is hardly "impressive".
Has anyone had any truck with these guys?
They handled Edgar Winter.

This is by no means an opinion on the aforementioned company, but reputable management doesn't scout for talent on the web; they "find" them through referrals, submissions, and networking. But again, I'm referring to "reputable" top-notch management.
Additionally (and this is another casual observation), one of the menu tabs on this company's website says "BE DISCOVERED." The idea of being "discovered" is an idea that was created by publicists and the general public (i.e., wannabe's and fans) have bought into it.
I'll bet you my studio that if you DO follow through on this - at one point or another you will be asked to part with greens.
PEACE
-Anthony
EDIT: What I DO find impressive is that the "real" or "original," if you will, D.B. Cooper has a " ( II ) " next to HIS name, but YOU are " ( I ) " in IMDB - LOL |

I'm just fact-gathering! When folks come here with questions, I want us to have answers when we can.
Any query letter that begins "Dear [generic]" makes me cock a brow to begin with. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

True - True indeed!
It's like the email I got the other day asking me if I wanted to grow an inch or two - I thought, "How did they know?!!!" but thought better of it and deleted it.

Golly, I searched and I searched and couldn't find me on IMDB anywhere... I only have 51 films with credits, but I was not listed....
Hmmm, does that mean I am not one worth the 3n1 Managment crews attention? Lucky me!
Oh well.

Perhaps they confused you with Debbie Cooper... Skull: A Night of Terror.
Now that's impressive!

Check out my husband and my cheesy indie flick that we did in '96 on IMDB! "The Detail" Yes, I can be seen in 13 foreign countries on the back rack at a Blockbuster Uzbekistan near you! |

At least you got a mention...
after two years on a well-rated show with credits, my own parents didn't understand why I didn't have an IMDB entry.
They thought there was just some guy who looked exactlylike me that played a minor character (actually several). _________________ Voiceovers by Gregory Houser
