I just saw an ad on Craigslist in the Seattle area, that said:
"No "Voices For All" affiliates need apply."
Anyone have any experience with this???
I've done some looking, and can't seem to find anything....
The site looks OK, but again...I'm new... |

Do you mean the Voices For All site looks OK?
It is a place that specializes in making demos for people. if you want more info about their process, you may ask me about it off-board. We won't discuss these guys on the board.
I don't know what "affiliates" means.
If they mean people who have been served by VFA, that's an interesting indictment. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

A filly is a young female horse, too young to be called a mare. There are several specific definitions in use. A common developmental definition is a female animal that has not reached sexual maturity; this usually means it is under 24 months of age. However, horse owners more commonly define a filly as a female horse under the age of four years years old, on the grounds that the average animal reaches full physical maturity at age four.
Maybe they're talking about a filly that ate something?

When I was working for a Large Production Company we would get demos from an unnamed voice over instructor. These demos would usually be thrown in the trash because the unnamed voice over instructor would turn out fabulous demos that the students couldn't live up to when we brought them in for an audition.
Could this be a similar situation? |

That seems to be the case.
There are operations that take many thousands of dollars from VO Hopefuls and produce expensive-sounding, totally unusable demos.
It breaks my heart.
