Is voice-over work seasonal in any way? Do you see more work during certain times of the year or is it fairly consistent all year long? |

I can only speak for me and the way I've decided to do business. But, I noticed that it's pretty even for me. The only thing that really changes is the volume. My steady clients send VO's all year round. Others that do seasonal work (Christmas, Spring, etc) only when their business picks up. Then, there are the "blue moon" clients that may send a couple of times a year. And there are always those that call up every couple of years and begin the e-mail, "Hi remember me? You did the corporate VO for Etc, Inc in 2002?" I'm doing a cable Tv VO for a show that does 26 episodes a year, so we break twice a year. LOL Always something new. |
