VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

I finally pulled the plug on my ISDN lines.

It's weird....It used to be such a point of pride to have them, and now...sort of like a horse 'n buggy I suppose.
But after over a year of non-use, it was time.

But, between that and cancelling one of my totally unwatched streaming services, I've cut $105/month in expenses. That's $1260 a year. So, there's that.

I will miss the chirps though.

I miss ISDN too. I get what you mean by it becoming a bit horse n' buggy...but I had a different take. Having ISDN meant we were OG VO, ya know? Like I told my kids, "I used to be somebody"

I'm not sure what was more painful, removing it from my equipment rack, or remembering the $3,500 I spent buying it and the $10,000 I spent on phone lines over the years. Sigh.

I have never had ISDN because I am a hillbilly living in hillbilly-land with with hillbilly infrastructure. However, (God Bless the Interweb) I have recently been dragged kicking & screaming into Source Connect.

Side Note: George's Yoo-Hoo video is a Godsend if you have any questions AT ALL about SC.
