When mixing music behind a demo, I have heard two styles - one where each new clip has a different music bed behind it, and one where one song continues behind all clips.
Which do y'all think is preferable? Does it depend on the situation/type of demo? |

I've never heard of one music bed under all the clips. To me it suggests that the spots are not real and would be very distracting. |

Different commercial... different mix. That way, you don't sound like you're recording with an LP playing in the background.
Suggestion... Your links are a bit confusing in this thread. I'd suggest posting your VO demo on the Critique forum of the VO-BB... if you're looking for critiques.
