And according to many of my more rabid Born Again friends (and I do have several) today is also the Devil's birthday.
Damn! And I forgot to send a card! |

Happy anniversary, Mary...and Happy Reformation Day to the Lutherans. I found this:
On this day in 1517, Martin Luther posted a proposal at the doors of a church in Wittenberg, Germany to debate the doctrine and practice of indulgences. [my emphasis]
and wonder if too much candy was an impetus... |

Happy anniversary Mary!
I've got to ask this... Was your wedding traditional or were there any costumes? |

Well, thank-you for asking - it was as traditional as it would have been on any other day. I changed out of my suit into a costume for the dancing. It was held in a nice barn and we had Indian food and get a load of the chocolate cake my sister made.
It was a wonderful day. Thirteen years ago.

Happy Snap Apple Night or Happy Nutcrack Night!

OK Mary, 13 years and counting, that is GOOD. You look very happy. it must be the bags of money left at yout door step. Your husband looks a lot like a good friend of ours.
My wife and i are coming up on 15 years in Apirl.

Mary - I congratulate you and your husband on thirteen years of marriage. And Greg - I congratulate you and your wife on fifteen. Good for each of you!
Oh....I just realized that it's thirty five years for my wife and I in a few weeks. Hmmmm.....and it seems like it was just last week that I saw her for the first time, walking down the hall on the first day of school. I truly am the luckiest man on earth. |
