I just got my proofs back from the photo shoot I did last week. Please help me pick one for my new headshot. I'm looking for a natural, friendly look that I can use as an all-purpose headshot.
Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/GKN and click on "Photos" in the left column to see the finalists.
Thanks for your help!!! _________________ Tom Dheere - The "H" is Silent, but I'm Not!

Oops! I didn't realize that. I'll set up a page on my website for easy viewing right now. _________________ Tom Dheere - The "H" is Silent, but I'm Not!

I like 57 - there is expression in the eyes there, and 142 for extra work since they like to see more of the body. _________________ Joe Rodriguez, Bilingual Voice Actor | The Voiceover Thespian Blog

My two eurocents...
I agree on 40... it communicates 'serious business'. Some of the other photo's tell me 'waiting to be mugged' (kidding ofcourse)

Tom,
I like 40 also, but of the shots with a strong smile, 42 and 140 are my favorites. _________________ Be well,

A casting director told me (and several others) just last night, "I don't want to have to guess what your teeth look like. If you want featured parts, get them fixed. Or leave them as they are and be a character actor. Either way, I need to see 'em." _________________ Great Voice. Great Choice. For Voice Talking and stuff.

40 works for close-up.
140 is okay for distant shot. _________________ "Bailey"

Funny, I have openly criticized young jazzers for their "tortured artist" CD covers and head shots (ain't this supposed to be fun?) but then find myself opting for the "blank slate" headshot here. Must just be what I'm used to. |
