If the client is just listening and directing as you record Source Connect Now is actually good for the scenario.

I still use Skype for phone patch stuff
Source Connect Standard for pro studios.

I just have a Plantronics headset like this one plugged into my land line when I'm in CT or into my mobile phone when I'm in FL.
