A client who will be wanting to put some royalty-free music behind a video's narration is asking for recommendations for stock music sites. I have no experience with any such sites.

Are there any producer-types here who do and could make a recommendation or two?

Thanks!

I heartily recommend these guys:

Audio Jungle

Excellent quality, occasional deals, and even a free monthly music track if you sign up to be on their email list.

I’ve put a copy of this thread in Research and Development. Good stuff for those who need it. Thanks!

These folks are not the cheapest but their collections are huge. This link is to their sound effects collections but there are links on the site to their music as well. The biggest caveat with big older music providers is that some of their music is quite outdated now. Be picky I guess. Sound effects rarely get old.

They're having a 50% off winter sale, which means they'll sell you a hard drive with all 174,000 of their SFX on it for just $6,998.
