Hi there!

Are there any Orlando-based VO'ers here? I'm heading down to the area (zip 32821 - just south of Seaworld) in a couple of weeks and I have a project due about that time. Most of the project should be done but there may be some pickups/edits. I have a travel rig, but I was hoping to see if there are any home studios that may be available (compensated of course) as a backup in case of any hiccups. I would ballpark maybe 1/2 hour - 1 hour.

Or are there any other recording studios that you recommend? I've reached out to a couple and am awaiting replies but figured I would check with those that know best here.

Thanks in advance!

Cameron

Hi Cam!
I know that Joe Davis lives near Orlando, and there are a few other VOs thereabouts. You might want to contact him to see who's around there. He'll know.
Have a fantastic trip!

Oh that's right! Thanks Karyn! I was just about to book a nearby studio but the project deadline was just extended, so I'm good. Whew! I'm still probably going to stop by and say hi to them just for fun and will send Joe a note to hopefully say hi as well.

Thanks!
Cam

not sure how many people know about this but there is a resource voiceoverstudiofinder.com that you can search for studios that are available across the globe. I dont endorse it, own it, or have much first hand experience except that I monkeyed with it one day and it looked interesting but new and still growing. It shows 3 studios in/near Orlando.

That studio finder site isn't much help if your going to Portland, Oregon where it only lists one (a really nice guy and friend by the way) when there are at least 5 studios worth listing, and they had zero studios listed for Phoenix where I'm sure there at least 10 these days. Oh well. If it helps, it helps.
