Seems to be more of a LinkedIn course. I doubt that there's anything in her course that can't be learned in other places. I found her profile on LinkedIn. Good graphics, Take a look at how she writes her profile, compare it with some other VO artists on LinkedIn, and figure out how well optimized you are.
The real key on LI that I've found is getting folks to Like, Comment and Share your posts and blogs. Write a LI blog. Post at least half of the time about things that don't "sell" you. Start conversations with folks, and write some notes that you can send to folks you'd like to connect with that aren't sales-y and explains why you;d like to connect. There IS an art to getting business on LI, but it's mostly working your contact list professionally and staying top of mind with them.

Tracy Lindley has been doing her LinkedIn training for a while. She presents at conferences and if you think that LinkedIn can be mined and manipulated for work, then she's probably as good as anyone. I've not heard anything negative about her... in fact, I've heard a number of people say she makes it clear.

I guess it all depends if you want to invest in mining LinkedIn as a possible resource for finding work/clients/relationships. Every time I go on to LinkedIn, I get buried in people trying to sell me shite, so I back away and rinse off with Purell. Your mileage may vary.

Some are good enough to get found, others develop methods to creatively throw themselves under the limos in which ...

LinkedIn has always felt like a blind spot for me professionally, both in my radio career and in voicework. I'm lax in marketing and cultivating contacts so I see a service like hers and think 'this should do it.'
Ron, thanks for the crash course. I will explore this more.
Bish, appreciate the insight on Tracey.
I got an email from voiceover Xtra with a 50% discount code for 'Edge' and wanted to sniff out the service/person first.

i have used linked in quite effectively to find both clients & talent. there are a ton of folks trying to sell "shite" - but i filter through those pretty easily.

Good luck, Moose. LinkedIn can be a very powerful platform when worked consistently no matter which industry you are in. Take advantage of it!
