HELLO EVERYONE..

I'm posting 4 movie trailers I recently added to my "Voice Over" portfolio.
They are hot new releases. Please listen and tell me what you think. I hope they meet up to your expectations. I really appreciate any input, GOOD OR BAD. I am my own worst critic. So PLEASE help me out, if you can!!!

YOU'LL NEED QUICKTIME 7, AND RIVA FLV PLAYER

Sorry... I can't pull up any of the demos. It may be the link, or something on my end. I check again later.

Matty-- Please don't shout.
It's mega slow on the server side.

These should open in a new window OR be downloadable.

The Silent Hill trailer is only 8.8MB and it's asking for an hour's download time.

Because of the size of your files, I might suggest the following.
Take about :15 of audio from each of the mov files, and roll it into an MP3 file for post. Quicker downloads could bring about quicker critiques.

Watched Deja-vu and found it laboured, cliche and didn't watch to the end. It was a show piece for a vocal sound rather than a person telling a story.

If the trailer is to be shown across the USA and you are holding a check in your hand then you gave what was asked of you.

Occupational hazard for a jobbing voice over - Getting paid for garbage. Quite frequently in my case. Laugh

Wow, is your server slooow. I have 3mb per second download capability and the server is only giving me 17kbps. While downloading the DaVinci Code trailer, I had time to load my dishwasher, make lunch and eat it. If I were a client, I would be long gone.

Other than that, not bad. The audio was a bit dry sounding and I could hear the music drop whenever you inserted your voice. Engineers would be able to pick that up. Your vocal range is on target, however I could hear you trying to imitate "the sound" of the standard trailer reads, instead of bringing your storytelling read to the script. Overall, good job. But get a new server.

If not for the file size, I would've watched at least one. Even on a high speed line here (1.5Mbps), the server is waaaay toooo sloooow. Sorry.
