Political season is here with the occasional rush job such as 9:45 pm last night. A normal :60 radio is about 150 to 160 words and a real "peppy" spot can be up to 200 words. This latest one? 117 words. No music, no filler, just copy. Admittedly I had to fill just :57 seconds because the candidate's disclaimer took up a whole 3 seconds, but still!
There's just so much interest you can put into service in Afghanistan and on the House Armed Services Committee, but I did it. My years of study of the Iranian Double Pause upon the suggestion of our esteemed Mr. Banks got me through. Thank .... you .... Philip .... !
