I need rate advice for three variations ('this fathers day', 'this 4th July' and a generic one not referencing a holiday period) of a :30 TV (8 networks) & online (yet to be determined) spot. Whew!

8 Networks
Cooking Channel, CNN, DIY, ESPN, FOOD, HGTV, MSNBC, TRAV

The HH est weekly totals to be at 3276. (Honestly, I don’t know what this means)

This is non-union and I’ve looked at the GVAA rate guide but I’m not sure if I’m to quote per network or how to calculate the added online usage.

Thanks!

I'd consider calling a paymaster, such as Falcon, even if it's not union. It might be worth their fee to have them be on top of the situation.

Thanks, Bruce. I'll keep that in mind. I thought about looping in one of my agents since the usage is spread across multiple platforms and networks but wanted to reach out to the community first for advice.

It's probably worth handing it to an agent so it gets done right.

Yup. In total agreement with getting an agent on board.

Tom Allamon at Falcon can tell you what the stuff is worth. You need the where, and the duration. Tee Vee is sold by quarter.

The talent seeker skedaddled when I asked questions about duration. Pfft.

Sadly, asking the right questions can prove to be entirely the WRONG questions.

People playing off a straight bat tell the artist and/or agent all the numbers including the total fee and for non-union the latter is not negotiable.

Celebs are able to call the shots, so can famous voice over people. There ain't no such thing as the latter. We've heard of them but no one in the real world has a clue. They can name that guy what does all the movie trailers, they call him the movie trailer guy. Of course I know him as Movie. We're pretty close.
