It's a multi-tool. You need a hammer.

I had a mild case of gearlust while at Guitar Center one time and walked out with a Sterling Audio mic. I ended up returning it but it wasn't bad for the $$$.

Don't understand. By that logic isn't any FET condenser with multi-pattern, pads, etc. a multi-tool?

Just to be clear, Moose...

I did not mean to appear condescending, though some have been known to take me that way. I can sometimes be a bit blunt, and often rather flip, which doesn't always translate well online. Embarrassed

My point, hopefully more gently provided here, is that there is no magic bullet on Gearslutz that will magically transport you to the next level. What you need is a purpose-built tool of good quality... One designed to do exactly what you need it to, and nothing more.

Once you have it, quit looking, and concentrate on your craft.

It's the work that takes you to the next level, not the toys.

But Don, all he asked was if anyone had any experience with it and that he liked (The looks of it I assume), nothing about this mic taking him to the next level. Just sayin'. Smile

Equivalent Noise: 22dB SPL

That would be enough to scare me away. Looks pretty cool though Smile
