I just thought this was funny, and believe it or not, Reaper is an acronym for Rapid Environment for Audio Production, Engineering, and Recording. I'm glad you got a laugh out of that. Thanks for the info regarding the acronym. Doesn't make me like it any better though. Why didn't they call it Ballistic Audio Digitizing And Sequencing Software... BADASS? I might have bought it then.
Seriously though, R----r was high on my short list. I remember that it recognized my audio setup immediatley, but so did Sonar Home Studio, which is the DAW I am using now, primarily because Sonar is a cool name (and for some other less important reasons). |
