I don't know why I waited so many years to use Word2Wav. I've got a project with over 10,000 prompts and man-oh-man has this been such an easy plug and play.
If you do bulk work then this program is so worth the investment.

Big sigh of relief, I can hear it from here.
Both Word2WAV and Read 2 Record do basically the same thing. Some differences in layout and basic functions, but allow importing a Word or Excel file and then saving each file named with the proper file name.
W2W will save backup files so if you are doing any editing, then this is a great feature. On the multitude of prompts I do every month, I just record until I know it is right and then move on - so I don't need the backup takes.
I still have Vox Studio to do some batch processing work that isn't in either W2W or R2R. Had to get that in 2004 when I was working for a company with a proprietary file format that other software didn't have.
