Howdy ya'll!

Looking to stay in touch with past clients and all the warm leads I've talked with in the past and like the HappyGrasshopper program BUT they've jacked the intro price up to $59.00 a month...yikes!

Love the concept they use with a short "watercooler" type email instead of the typical long newsletter.

What are you using to stay in touch with clients or warm leads?

I absolutely use email, but don't need to spend any money on a program. I don't believe in mass generic notes. Each contact is personalized. Takes more time, but it's smarter business. And it used to cost about $10 a submission back in the days of snail mailing, so it's much more economical.

I use MailChimp - free and works great.

While I don't disagree with Bob on the personal notes - those come after a session - I do send a quarterly enewsletter to a small group of opted in folks with a very short blurb of interest to producers, a picture of one of my cats and a link to something I did recently.

That's all.

Here is a link to the last one in January - so that you can see how short it is.

Great stuff Bob and Connie, thanks!

Yeah I usually send out postcards to folks that have booked me but it's the warm prospects that I'm trying to woo over as a client(s).

Thanks for the sample Connie! That's perfect, right in line with what I was thinking. I'll get setting up my MailChimp account today.

I saw a funny add the other day for Mail-Shrimp, fun marketing vid for Mail Chimp... http://www.mailshrimpfilm.com/

Still open to other email marketing ideas if anyone's got some clever twists.

Cheers!
