Here's the true test:
I plugged this theme in and took a look.
I heard a deep sigh and realized I was the only one in the room. _________________ DBCooperVO.com |

Ya know DB, I actually voted - yes I was one of them - for the other 'look' - however, I now have to recind my vote... THIS is the right LOOK for the VO-BB.
Thanks and I hear your 'sigh'....

Yes... you're absolutely right... this is the right LOOK.
Now... how about ditching the prairie dog?

Alright - already (to quote DB )... It snowed - yes, the real white stuff... about 4 inches today... we expect a high tomorrow of about 34 degrees centigrade and more snow.
So to remind you 'warm climate folks' what Fall in snow country is like - here it is... another avatar...

I never did vote because I just couldn't make up my mind. But seeing the comic look up again.. yep, this is right. The other was too sterile. _________________ Hart Voice Overs Blog

Sigh indeed.
Thank-you Deirdre, for this "home skin" and for the millions of other things you do that make this place home. |

I also voted for the other style, but after seeing it in Comic again, I'm glad. I do feel right at home with Comic.

Frank! It snowed yesterday morning up where I live too....almost 4 inches at our house. My wife took a bunch of pics of it all but hasn't transferred them to her computer yet. We also are expecting to get blasted again today...but much worse than yesterday. Yesterday my wife also got pictures of a momma deer giving birth to twins right in our driveway!
Today is our 6th anniversary and we are going to a really nice restaurant for dinner, but if we get blasted before I get home....I may not be making it....I drove the Spyder today....AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH......she just called me and threatened me....said if I can't make it home because I drove the Spyder.....then I can sleep with the Spyder tonight! hahahahahaha....She was kidding of course. Deirdre,
Home. A word that doesn't translate very well into other languages, it's so freighted with meaning. (This thought isn't original with me. The late baseball commissioner Bart Giamatti said it much better than I can in a talk he gave about baseball years ago. You can find it as a free quicktime file at the Wizard Academy Press site. It's the last listing at the bottom of the page.)
And yes, Comic Book feels like home for me, too.
And I'll add my voice to the chorus of those who thank you, dear Deirdre, for all that you do for us. _________________ Be well,
