Found this video my daughter did, and would love to download it... but I can't figure out how to do anything other than hit "play". Shocked

Any technical wizards out there know if this can be done? Merci in advance...

I right-clicked on it and one option is "save video as..."
I was then able to save it to my hard drive.

GREAT job by her, btw! No surprise there.

scott's way is a lot easier --- you just have to click play THEN right click.

For the curious: the Mac equivalent of a right-click is to hold the Control key down while clicking to get a menu of options.

Most Mac mice of modern vintage are two-button, or gesture-driven.
If yours isn't set up in System Prefs to right-click, do what Mike said.

I still rely on control-click if my "Magic" mouse is giving me the pip.

Deebs is correct. My mouse has no buttons, but is configured as a two-button mouse.

I remember a telephone conversation with another vo-bb member (who shall remain nameless)...

I hate this Mac.
Just right click and you'll see options.
Right click does nothing.
You have to configure it under options.
I hate this Mac. Why isn't it like my PC?
Because it's a Mac.
I hate Mac.
Why did you buy it then?
(crickets)

(I purposefully used eclipses so that Deebs would automatically discount what I was saying...)

Yeah, whenever I see an eclipse I think, "Earth shadow!" Then I think, "Bish doesn't really know what he's talking about."

Actually, your post was pre-ignored for being British.
