I call it "found" money... re-use checks for commercials I did months ago, a year ago, and sometimes a few years ago. Money from out of the blue that you just weren't expecting or counting on. I got a nice one today for an infomercial I recorded one line for. Sweet.
And then I start to think of all the people/agencies out there who have never paid me re-use fees they owed me and never got caught because they're in some other part of the country where I don't have friends or family listening. Arrrrgh.
I sigh, and then I photo today's check for the bank deposit and plan on what small treat or toy I'll buy with a bit of my found money and pack the rest away. Sweet.

I try to re-use checks all the time, but my bank always tells me no.
