Just got back from seeing The Imitation Game (go see it - excellent movie!). I counted 7 trailer/previews before the show. Of those, one actually had VO - Paddington Bear. Otherwise, no.

I THINK on a previous expedition to see a movie that I actually heard a female VO for a trailer -but can't remember which one now.

Saw a lot of trailers myself after a 4-movie holiday extravaganza (I liked 2 of them, so not bad percentages)

Not being a teddy bear kinda guy, I sorta didn't notice the Paddington VO, though I guess I saw it..but the one I did notice was for a movie with Blake Lively called The Age of Adaline. The movie may be good..won't know until April..but the VO was very well-done and not at all what's expected today. Much more storytelling: a nuanced, textured voice, not sounding trailer-ish and over-the-top at all. Anyone heard it..know who voiced it? Here's a link to YouTube

Looks like a wonderful story and the movie trailer did what I believe all movie trailers should do. Opens a story book and hands it to you.

"I think you may like to read this" it says.

Thank you for sharing that, bloody brilliant!

Wow.

Sounds like it might (might) be Hugh Ross.

It does, Bruce, enough that I thought it might be Harlan Rector..but listening to HR's work, I don't think so.
