Just finished a longish narration that deals with Abrams A1M1 tanks.

The frivolity included gems such as LRIP, DSESTS, SCATE, NGATS, COTS,
ANAD, TPS's (not the reports), AGARD, RFSMU, the ever popular COMM and NAV, SIL, Linux, WinCE, WSTGE, LOGSA, HELMD EPS and my favorite FRACAS.

Those wacky Army guys. I swear. Wink

ah yes, the TLAs - three letter acronyms, FLEAs - four letter extended acronyms and the dreaded SAFLA - shit, another five letter acronym.

My problem is that I would invariably read them the wrong way - "eps" for "EPS" and "eff-are-aye-see-aye-ess" for "FRACAS" and so on and so forth eeteasee. It's like my mind goes ayedubbleyoohoell whenever I see acronyms.
