Did my first SAG gig today for Stewart Talent. A series of national TV and web spots.

The producer, writer and all really worked me hard.

I friggin' loved it. All 2+ hours worth.

April was a little soft.

May is almost done (numbers-wise)

What a crazy life we lead.

One of the first things I read this morning, delighted for you.

2 hour session?

"Sorry to make you do it again" says the director.

"You DO realise that you're paying me for this, right? I'm not doing you any favours" replies the VO.

They booked 2 hours...and used all of that and a few minutes more.

It was classic in the sense that, after the first read they proceeded to take me in other directions. It got very dark, a-la Michael Keaton "Batman".
The read the client liked after they called and played back? The first one.

Sometimes they want to see what else you can do since they are paying for your time anyway. Congrats Chuck.

Best part of that union gig: after you've been paid and they add on to the schedule and additional checks that you weren't expecting show up in your mailbox.
