i can't imagine it NOT working on the newer phones --- you WILL need an OTG cable ... NOT a usb cable - but specifically an On-The-Go cable. easy way to find out --- download the trial version and give it a go.

I am using a Samsung TAB 3.... 8 inch. I didn't read the list provided on the website carefully and tried to make it work on a 7 inch table. No Go! The 7 inch will not "host" USB. (My tablet is NOT from a phone company. Just a plain tablet, but will do WiFi.)
I have a question: Cell phones in a recording booth can be a bad thing. Sometimes creates the drum-beat for the William Tell Overture or something in the audio. For those of you using an Android phone with USBAudioRecorderPro... do you leave the phone "on" while recording or do you (Can you?) power down the phone part.
I am a luddite still using old cell phone technology. Does an Andorid Phone create any difficulty with the software? This tablet is doing its best to change my thinking about a new phone. |

For safety's sake, and to conserve processor resources, I would recommend placing the phone in "airplane mode", which shuts down the radios.
That said, I have used the a without doing so, with no problems. YMMV. _________________ Don Brookshire

My old non-smart phones used to occasionally make that morse-code-like sound but my Android phone and Android tablet, both less than three feet from my mic, never have. They do sometimes bleep and blurp when I get a new Twitter follower or some other activity takes place that they think I should know about. Silencing my phone can get it to keep quiet. I'm not quite sure how to make my tablet STFU, though. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

Your tablet should have a volume control, much like your phone. Just turn it down, and it should silence your notifications, too. Might want to make sure you don't have any vibration enabled, too. _________________ Don Brookshire
