I just recently got the new Mac Pro 2.66 quad with Intel Xeon processing. I also got a 23" Apple cinema display.....so my set up has been in shambles for a bit. I am super impressed with the machine so far. The monitor is incredible too....I absolutely love it. No issues at all with the gear. I still have to load the dude up with some serious RAM power.

You can add up to 16 gig of RAM....ok, that is sick.....and you can add 2 terabytes of drive space internally.....that's four 500 gig drives that can be removed and taken to other Mac Pros if needed. Anyway, if you are thinking of buying one and have any questions, send me a PM and I will answer them if I can. That is my review thus far.

the very idea of 16 Gigabytes of RAM made me laff out loud, D00d.
You have more computing power than most small countries.

No kidding. I may only ever get to half of that (if needed). You would have to be doing some serious serious stuff to need that 16 gig. The funny thing is like in 5 years we will be saying...."how did we ever make it on 16 gig of RAM". Oh the times are a changin'.

You aren't kidding. I still have a 4 meg hard drive around here somewhere. Now it's used as a coaster.

*Gates never actually said this, but it's still funny.

Sure, sure. Next thing you'll tell us is that Al Gore didn't invent the internets.
