Hey v/o brethren,

Need some advice here. I have a dedicated sound booth from which I record most of my projects and I also have another mic at my control
panel which I use to handle auditions, etc. It doesn't have the luxury of
sound proofing like my booth, but it doesn't sound too bad. My question is, how can I use my Avalon 737 preamp for both mics? I'm hesitant about inserting another device within the signal chain but I may have to use a mixer or switcher of some sort. Any suggestions?

I've been using one of these.

But as I look at the tiny print near the top...I see Soundcraft no longer makes it.


Still, Soundcraft puts nice pre's in their consoles.

That's too bad, because that is one very good mixer. Top quality for sure.

I had the Power Pad version of it - a powered mixer - but recently gave it and the monitor speakers to the local elementary school because, as a powered mixer it had a fan inside and the fan was beginning to make just a little bit of noise.
