Anybody who has one of these who can tell me how to mount the mic on the U-shaped "shock mount"? There is already that bracket (which has the XLR jack) attached to it with those rubber band things. Can't figure it out, and don't want to risk breaking the rubber bands doing it wrong.

Emailed CAD several times and got one reply saying they'd try to put together a video, but no explanation and never any further response. [Pretty poor customer service, if you ask me.]

There are a few dozen videos on YouTube that feature this mic. Maybe you can glean an idea from those?

It should have come already mounted.

Did you buy it new?

Yes, I have been through them, but none I've seen seem to show how to mount it.
