Most of "what happens at Faffcon stays at Faffcon," but I don't think that applies to the Saturday Night entertainment. In this case, it was Karaoke (sponsored as a gift to fellow Faffers by Dave Courvoisier). I have always felt that karaoke was the Japanese' revenge for our dropping atomic bombs on them, but Faffcon Karoke is a bit different -- mainly because, unlike normal karaoke, well more than half the contestants can actually carry a tune and have nice voices. So in the case of Faffcon, the entertainment is -- you know -- entertaining.

However, as good as so many of the Faffers were (and they really were), our own Whitney Szabo blew everybody out of the water with her high energy performance.

That is all.

Well shucks, thanks. I was overwhelmed by all of the enthusiastic, kind things that people said to me, and now a thread? You sure know how to make a girl blush. Diane, Melissa, Lee, it was so, so good to meet you. What an amazing time.

Yup... lots of thumbs-up and Texan whoops. Whitney rocked it... people stopped what they were doing and were enthralled by an amazing performance.

However, remember... video is unlikely, because what happens at Faffcon, stays at Faffcon Smile

(thankfully)

♫ Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo♫ duh-duh

She absolutely killed it! It was awesome! I am totally spoiled for karaoke from here on out.

Whitney, if you're taking requests, then I want to hear "Piece of My Heart" by Janis Joplin. You rock, girl!!

I find the fact that there is not even a bootleg recording of the audio as....UNFORGIVABLE!
