Old Dominion Productions: Resonating loud and clear
By Jason Jacks
08/10/2006

Listening to Gary Kriebel over the telephone, it's hard not to think: "I know that voice. But from where?"

For the past couple of years, this 37-year-old Burke resident has been renting out his voice to radio and television commercials through his business, Old Dominion Productions, which just celebrated its two-year anniversary.

Nice, Gary! The newspaper must have been short on copy space since our business is so fascinating. I think the writer must have had to have culled a LOT to make the article fit. I'll be listening for your Bejamin Moore voice, no cringing allowed!

Very cool Gary! I agree with Diane, I bet the writer had to leave out a lot of information to make it fit the space Smile

All,
Thanks for the kind words. The Fairfax County Times is a VERY small local paper that is under a very large shadow of The Washington Post. They tend to look for stories the big boys don't bother with...... like me.

I got lucky this time I guess as my PR agent is me. This particular reporter makes a regular habit of checking Google News for Burke and Springfield, since that is the beat he covers. He saw my press release that I submitted for my VO company's 2nd anniversary (2 years since the Commonwealth of Virginia approved my application for a Limited Liability Company). I used two free press release websites, www.pr9.net and http://www.pr.com.

I don't know how much exposure this will get me, but the price was right.
