This * free * mag is top heavy in sound engineering topics, great band and producer interviews, has superb eye candy (ads) for mid to high end software, as well as outboard hardware that all of us with gear-itis will appreciate. Also, you can get a hard copy of the mag sent to you for gratis as well! Bumpkiss. Nada. Zero. (Makes great bathroom reading!)

Interviews of influential movers and shakers in the sound engineering realm, and a bit of reminiscing about the good ol' days of analog recording. ("Tape Ops" were young people who were interns in the recording studios, lugging reel to reel tape back and forth)

You can look at the current issue online to see if it appeals to you. If you subscribe (free) you can go into the archives a little bit.

They sell access to their earlier issues if you want it.

These guys have been around for many years as evidenced by their back catalog. And yes, I admit I lust after some of the toys advertised.

This is a QUALITY production. I can't believe I just found it a few months ago. I present it to you, my VO comrades, as a gift.

Feel free to thank me-- so I know I haven't wasted my time giving you this love! Kiss Kiss Kiss

This is FANTASTIC! Thank you, Peter.

A most worthwhile "time suck," indeed!

Thanks Peter. I used to get the hard copy version. I must have forgotten to renew.

I've been getting the hard copy for years. It's fantastic! The most recent mag had an amazing article on the last page. I keep meaning to recommend the article for all of us.
