Hey Gang--
Pat's coming to Boston in September for a weekend VO blowout.
I normally wouldn't plug a PF class, but this is the first time he's coming to Boston, and I know some folks here wanted to be notified.

He did a VERY nice job a few weeks ago here in Buffalo.
I did the Character Voice Master Class....I think that was the name 
Worth the effort to attend, most certainly, whatever it was called.

You are very welcome Pat and I hope your vacation was a great one.
Oddly enough, this evening I received my PatFraleyTeaches CD with all our scenes from the class and I just started listening to it now.
For folks who’ve not been “Fraleyized*”, Pat establishes a great learning environment for all the voice actors.
As a group, actors become unafraid to try new things (which I noticed was tough for some folks who successfully worked through it.) Individually, he helps develop the character AND their voices and provides insight on how to break down scripts. He also occasionally challenges an actor out of his/her "comfort zone" character voice (one they could phone in, they've done it so many times) into something completely different...which is sometimes awkward and discombobulating but if voice acting were easy, anyone could do it.
But the best memory that comes back to me listening to this CD was the group of actors I was introduced to and had the honor of working with...some I knew but many I did not and it was a wonderful revelation to meet and watch these talented performers.
The whole day was a real treat. Thanks again Pat.
