Bruce-- I adore you.
If you had said "between you and I" a containerload of rubber chickens would have been airlifted and dropped on your roof. _________________ DBCooperVO.com |

Ah yes, I remembered this one when I heard it yesterday:
"A whole nother thing altogether"
And while I'm at it, can you believe this? A banner outside a local restaurant says:
Crepes! Crepes! Crepes! Their great.
Their great what? Uncle?
So embarrassing. _________________ sitting at #8, though not as present as I'd like to be. Hello!

You must remember that the distinction A WHOLE NOTHER is the opposite of THE EXACT SAME. _________________ DBCooperVO.com |

You do realize that much of the copy we read is:
Written in Japaneese,
translated into Thai by a Korean speaking clerk,
revised by a German lawyers assistant,
sent to Mexico to be be "looked-over" and re-translated to English,
edited by 'Homeland Security',
run through the legal offices of "Dewey, Haveum, and Howe",
sent to the Chineese printer who has a college graduate proof-reader,
'punched-up' by the Producer's 8 year old Neice in pencil on the "Final Copy",
and finally given to the VO Artiste' to read.
Or, placed on the sign at the shop run by an Egyptian - advertising "Crepes - Their Great!"
Who says VO work isn't a great multi-national learning experience?
Did I miss a step?

Frank,
I thought that was "Dewey, Cheetum and Howe"? _________________ Be well,
