VO-BB - 19 YEARS OLD!

I saw an audition posting that said the VO would be used in "TV and Commercials" but not for broadcast. Does such a thing exist, or do you suppose the person made a mistake while composing the notice??

Often ad agencies, when pitching new clients, will make speculative spots to show the client how brilliant their creative concept is. These "spec" spots are for client presentation only, or maybe sometimes to present to a group of consumers in a research test.

Hence - TV, but not for broadcast.

Or, the guy could have made an ignorant mistake Smile

It's also possible that the job specs were website generated by clicking on a selection from a list of options and those were the closest choices the job poster had available.

...or could it be they were being extremely literal? Maybe they meant (but for whatever reason chose not to say) cable or satellite, where the signals are not delivered by means of a flux capacitor goosing electrons in the atmosphere.
